The Position
Mount Vernon Dental Smiles is looking for a part-time Oral Surgeon to add to our talented team!
As an Oral Surgeon you will enjoy the benefit of internal referrals from our well-established General Practice and an experienced team of highly trained professionals to assist you. Doctors with MVD have 100% clinical autonomy and are encouraged to provide as many services as possible to our patient. We strive to provide exemplary, personalized dental care in a friendly, relaxing environment and treats every patient with compassion and integrity, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies. The patient experience is our top priority and we strive to 'WOW' our patients, as well as each other.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from a CODA and/or ADA accredited school
- Licensed to practice in the state of VA
- Must be certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- CPR Certified, a plus
- 1-2 years' experience desired in O/S and with IV sedation
- Understanding of, and complies with, local, state, and ADA regulations, protocols, and procedures
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with O/S as needed
- Ensure in compliance with OSHA and dental board procedures
- Work with clinical staff to provide quality patient care services
- Stay current with the latest developments in dentistry through our complimentary CE courses
We work diligently to ensure all our patients and staff feel safe and protected while in our office. We have the proper PPE for the staff and are CDC COVID-19 compliant.
