Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Operations Manager to support our Richmond Hill, NY sites. The Operations Manager coordinates and supervises the overall functioning of the physical plant and business office operations. Responsible for the successful management of health center operations, including but not limited to the supervision of non-clinical staff, creates and reviews analytical data reports, coordinates maintenance requests, interacts with patients and offers assistance as needed, and orders all necessary supplies and equipment. Performs job duties in compliance with systems and job specific standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assures a safe environment for staff and patients.
- Trains, supervises and evaluates front desk, medical records clerk, and concierge staff by providing adequate scheduling, conducting performance reviews and supervision coaching sessions.

- Handles human resource issues in collaboration with the Leadership Team and with HRHC's Human Resources department as necessary.
- Orders all supplies necessary for the efficient operation of the offices.
- Oversees all non-clinical programming and patient information services.
- Oversees the business office operations such as patient registration, billing information, and the opening and closing of encounters, and acts as a liaison with site leadership.
- Reviews bills generated by Hudson River Health Care when patients inquire in person or by telephone. Make adjustments on the bills, if necessary, and sends the information to the Billing Department. Answers questions about bills that patients may have.
- Ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of site and communicates with the cleaning company (if contracted company) to ensure cleanliness.
- Completes daily and monthly statistical reports on patient utilization of services according to pay service and providers, on collection of fees from self-pay patients, and on no-show rates per provider.
- Maintains petty cash and prepares receipts for Practice Manager approval.
- Completes adjustment forms when a patient has changed insurance or no longer gets Medicaid. Obtains Practice Manager approval.
- Maintains the inventory of furniture and equipment. Updates with tags as new items are required.
Minimum Education Requirement : High School diploma/ GED
Minimum Work Related Experience : 2-4 years
Preferred Specialized Skills & Knowledge: Bilingual in both English and Spanish (orally and written)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $62,790.00 per year
