JOB TITLE: Team Lead REPORTS TO: Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt


JOB SCOPE:

The Team Receiving Lead is responsible for allocating resources, directing/redirecting workflow and assisting with day to day activities necessary to meet production goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following (but not limited to):

  • Review, evaluate and monitor staff performance; and recommend appropriate staffing.
  • Conduct frequent safety inspections and quality assessments.
  • Determine work progress and reevaluate staffing needs accordingly.
  • Responsible for training new employees and coach existing employees
  • Provide key performance indicator goals and expectations.
  • Review the operation of the department to monitor safety, production, quality, and efficiency to anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide and preserve the security and accuracy of all inventory.
  • Initiate and complete projects that improve safety, efficiency, and/or reduce operating costs.
  • Uses problem solving techniques that result in improvements in performance and productivity
  • With assistance from the Supervisor, informs team of any policies or procedures changes
  • Motivates others when change occurs to obtain positive results
  • Must gain forklift certification as part of essential job duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

Employee must possess skills in Microsoft Office and SAP.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITITES:

Self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude. Ability to work well with others. Ability to communicate effectively with SalonCentric and L’Oreal team members and management at all levels. Skill and ability to meet deadlines under stressful conditions. Ability to accept and provide suggestions & constructive feedback. Ability to efficiently lead a team, delegate, supervise and keep subordinates motivated. Ability to operate equipment in a safe manner. Ability to problem solve, delegate, and follow up on tasks assigned to team members.
