Job description

Perform traffic engineering duties under the supervision of a licensed PE. Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows to understand methods. Maintain and conform to AS9100 and the company QMS. Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures. Figure out how to manufacture parts or products, or deliver services, with maximum efficiency. Understand and apply AMI quality policy and quality objectives. Confer with clients, vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status. Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs. Production planning under Six Sigma (DMAIC, FMEA Approach). Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities. Formulate sampling procedures and designs and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer.
REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (or an U.S. equivalent).
• Must have one (1) year of experience in MatLab, 6Sigma, TUV Nord ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 Standards, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Project, AMI quality policy
