How will you make an impact?
As an Operations Coordinator, you will dispatch our drivers to ensure the timely delivery of all equipment and materials and work closely with the field supervisors to ensure the crews have everything they need onsite. You will be responsible for keeping track of materials in stock as well as work with our vendor network to procure materials for job sites. With your solid understanding of landscape and construction, we will be able to rest assured that our projects will run efficiently.
The coordination of materials and equipment to and from job sites can be one of the most rewarding positions at Vizmeg Landscape. During peak season, we run 15 construction crews throughout Northeast Ohio that require materials and equipment on site in a timely manner.
You will oversee and develop daily routes for 2-4 drivers to properly allocate skid steers, mini-excavators, large excavators, and dozers while also procuring materials and managing inventory. A background in supply-chain management and/or logistics is preferred.
Here’s what your responsibilities will be:
- Manage daily schedule and coordination for department employees (Yard Techs and Drivers)
- Oversee daily/weekly flow of material and equipment to all Landscape Construction Projects
- Dispatch and routing of delivery trucks (2-4 drivers)
- Managing company inventory and keeping the yard full (plants, brick, pipe, gravel, sand, etc.)
- Thinking ahead and planning where materials and equipment will need to go for upcoming projects
- Working with the Yard Technician to ensure all vehicles are loaded and unloaded properly
- Attend daily morning Landscape planning meeting, as well as the occasional pre-construction meeting
- Manage all company returns
- General snow removal duties during Winter months

Here is what our “Ideal candidate” looks like:
- 3-5 years of experience in the landscape or construction industry
- A background in supply-chain management or logistics
- Negotiating skills
- Solid understanding of landscape construction
- Ability to work a schedule with typical hours being 6:30-5:00 Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday morning during the spring and summer months
