We are seeking a Med Surg Nurse for our ONTS Department to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse performs active nursing process consisting of the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients. May assume the role as Team Leader for part or duration of shift.

Position: ONTS2; 23 private beds, 50% wound care. Manage drains, wound care, IV antibiotics, pain control and mobility. Educate patients on surgeries, obtain consents and provide discharge instructions. ONTS2 gets patients that are downgraded from the Burn ICU and cares for complex wound patients.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Current acute clinical care experience preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current Nevada license to practice Nursing
Independently maintains license
Acquires required contact hours to maintain practice
