Position Summary:

We are seeking an Oncology RN to join our energetic and compassionate team on our 30-bed unit Cancer Institute . As an Oncology RN, you will be responsible for organizing, modifying, evaluating, documenting, and maintaining the plan of care for oncology patients. This includes planning, implementing, revising, and delegating nursing care, performing necessary technical skills, and incorporating teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, revise, and delegate nursing care for oncology patients
• Perform necessary technical skills as required by education, expertise, and unit requirements
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice

Qualifications:

• BSN required (strong ADN candidates may be considered, but must be enrolled in a BSN program and awaiting graduation)
• Chemo Certified preferred (not required)
• Strong acute Med-Surg experience (2 years of Med-Surg) with recent acute care experience required
• Oncology experience preferred
