MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent and zero (0) to two (2) years of general office/clerical experience.

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Performs entry-level general office support that is somewhat varied in nature, works under close supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Confer with customers by telephone or in person in order to provide information about Alabama
Farm Credit services.
2. Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
3. Performs receptionist tasks such as sorting mail, answering phones and retrieving and delivering
materials as requested
4. Assists office staff with various loan administrative and servicing duties as directed.
5. Performs data entry from standardized source documents requiring accuracy but little or no
interpretation of data to be entered.

OTHER DUTIES:
1. Performs general office duties primarily consisting of routine repetitive tasks of organizing and
maintaining files and records, and distributing mail or other items.
2. Operates a variety of standard office equipment according to detailed instructions, which may
include computers, paper shredders, telephones, photocopiers, fax machines and scanners.

3. Responsible for collection letters, FSA reporting, scanning documents to the HUB, and
CRM/Farm View management.
4. Other duties as assigned.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
General knowledge of accounting/financial systems. General knowledge of office equipment and
systems used for the storage and retrieval of business information. General knowledge of standard
records management and file classification practices. Knowledge of written correspondence
principles. Basic skill level in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication skills.
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and
manage time effectively.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Frequent interaction with customers, association departmental staff and management. Occasional
interaction with Farm Credit Bank of Texas staff. Occasional interaction with area professionals
including real estate agents, commercial bankers, and others who deal with the association in the
normal course of business.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to stand for limited periods of time. Frequent
finger/hand manipulation (keyboard, office equipment, small hand tools, etc.), occasional lifting,
carrying, pushing, and/or pulling while exerting up to 50 pounds of force.

POLICY AND COMPLIANCE:
Compliance with FCBT and Association technology and security standards is required.
