Nurturing Parenting/Supportive Visitation Coach

Essential Responsibilities (other duties as needed):

• PRN - available to work weekends and evenings
• Provide educational and supportive services to parents with children ages 0-18
• Facilitation of Nurturing Parenting curriculum and/or support services during family visitations
• Recruiting and Engage families in services
• Master Nurturing Parenting Curriculum
• Provide timely documentation
• Ability to communication effectively
• Sessions are held both virtually and in the home when available

Education:

• High School Diploma Required

Qualifications:

• Excellent Communication Skills- Both Written and Verbal
• Previous experience working with youth
• Personal reliable transportation is required
• No more than five driving points on driver's license
• Must pass an employment, education and criminal background check
• Access to a computer and comfortable using Word, Excel, Outlook, and must have established internet access
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a team
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to needs of different youth

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous teaching, facilitating, instructing experience preferred
• Experience working in a community based environment

Ability to work with diverse populations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
