Nursing Home Administrator

Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home is a not-for-profit, 80 bed Hospital based LTC and Rehab facility located in the village of Springville, NY. We are adjacent to the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, and to the Bertrand Chaffee Primary Care practice. As a key member of our leadership team you will lead facility strategic planning and you will proactively organize and direct the operations. You’ll develop and implement the facility administrative policies and make operating decisions including, but not limited to, general supervision, hiring and discharging of management staff, and integrating the services of the facility with the community's health resources.

• Supervises and directs the operation of the Nursing Home, including Nursing Administration, Rehabilitation, Social Services, Activities, Business Office, and Shared Services
• Demonstrates effective management, communication and team-building skills
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Participates in budget preparation and compliance.
• Participates in census development activities.
• Maintains positive resident, family, physician and community relations.
• Demonstrates effective conflict resolution skills.
• Monitors compliance with risk management and quality improvement policies and procedures. Ensures that risk and quality related information is reported to the Board of Directors.
• Attends Board of Directors, Medical Executive, Senior Leadership and Department Manager meetings.
• Serves on committees as requested and assigned.
• Understands and complies with all legal, regulatory and policy requirements in the performance of duties.
• Reports willful or inadvertent potentially fraudulent activity to management or the Corporate Compliance Officer.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous relevant leadership experience including substantial and well-rounded knowledge of facility operations.

• Maintains current New York State Nursing Home Administrator license and adheres to the New York State Code of Ethics for Nursing Home Administrators.

COMPENSATION - Based on experience, ranges $90,000 - $130,000 annually.
