Anodyne is looking for a confident, dedicated, positive, and organized full-time nurse practitioner to work in a physical medicine clinic in its newest primary care office located in Orem, UT. You will be a critical part of the provider team as our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible. You will need to work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important. Core activities include conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests and overseeing patients’ health. You’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. The position requires patient evaluations, injections, and other procedures. The clinic's focus is musculoskeletal/orthopedic pain management with a focus on rehabilitation and wellness both acute and chronic.
Provider Hours: Mon/Wed/Thurs 8am to 6:30 with hour lunch; Tues 11-6:30; Fri 8am to 12pm
Note: Hours may vary based on provider team schedule and patient needs. Target is 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Diagnose health conditions/illnesses and create clear and concise treatments plans
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications as needed
- Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
- Oversee patients’ overall health
Skills/Requirements:
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner graduate program with a master’s degree or higher
- Licensed and registered to practice in the State of Utah by the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL)
- Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting“
- Patient-First” mentality
- Up to quarterly travel may be required for training
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative team player, but comfortable working independently
- Passionate about addressing patient concerns and working toward achieving expected outcomes
- High ethical standards
- Strong communication skills
