Job Responsibilities and Duties

1. Ensures the timely delivery of nuclear pharmacy products to predetermined customers on specific routes while meeting internal schedule and quality standards.

2. Unloads products as per client specifications while providing excellent customer service. Accepts returns from clients where applicable. Breaks down delivery cases, disposes of radioactive materials and sanitizes lead pigs.

3. Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles and facility.

4. Performs routine safety checks on vehicles and pre-trip vehicle inspections according to company guidelines. Immediately reports all vehicle maintenance issues or malfunctions to Pharmacy Manager.

5. Obtains required DOT training and certification.

6. May be required to pass physical fitness (assessment of strength, endurance and stamina) to evaluate physical ability to perform regular duties of the job.

7. Manual dexterity for manipulating small and large items; ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and to handle standing, walking, sitting, and operating a motor vehicle for 4+ hours with limited rest intervals.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with valid VT driver's license required.

• Must have and maintain clean driving record.

• Must have the ability to drive in all types of weather and road conditions safely.

• Ability to work a variety of schedules including early mornings, holidays, weekends, overtime, and on-call as needed. Currently hiring for the 1:00 AM to 9:30 AM shift.

• Must possess excellent critical-thinking, interpersonal communication and customer service skills. As well as good judgement and self-discipline.

• Prior driving, delivery and/or customer service experience preferred.
