Job Description

The packaging non-Salaried supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Salaried Supervisor with daily production as well as being a relief person for the salaried supervisor whenever he is absent.

Job Duties

1. Start Packaging and filing machine by engaging controls.

2. Perform the packaging operation of the product in accordance with product packaging specifications that allows the product efficient storage and shipment.

3. Inspect in-process packaging to endure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material in the process.

4. Monitor packaging and filling operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products in accordance to standards.

5. Monitor the packaging production line to forestall potential bottlenecks, pileups, jams, glue not sticking properly or labels being stamped in the wrong direction.

6. Perform general maintenance repair on machinery to keep lines advancing.

7. All these and other duties as assigned by management.

Education Requirements

1. A high school diploma or GED is basic to the position while a 1–2-year post-secondary education is an advantage.

2. Required a previous experience of three years in packaging or other manufacturing or related operations is an advantage.
