SUMMARY:
Drives NET vehicles to transport eligible Medicaid members to and from appointments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform assigned daily transports in a safe and timely manner.
- Complete all paperwork required for transportation services rendered.
- Complete a daily inspection of the assigned vehicle before the start of the day.
- Assist with the delivery of public transportation tokens and passes as needed.
- Driver must be courteous, patient, and professional at all times, as well as neat and clean in appearance per the driver handbook.
- You will need to drive around ATLANTA,GA.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- The employees must regularly lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- All drivers must be at least 25 years of age and have a current valid GA driver's license, with no suspension or revocation within the last five years, along with no more than one chargeable accident or moving violation in the last three years.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
