T.C. Transportation is a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation company specializing in wheelchair and ambulatory passenger services and primarily serving the Waco, Hewitt, Killeen, area. We are currently expanding our fleet and are looking for new drivers to join our team.

Our mission is to provide the best possible customer service and experience to every patient regardless of socioeconomic status, age, race or gender. We’re looking for experienced, dependable, and courteous drivers for both full-time and part-time positions transporting wheelchair, and ambulatory patients. We are also looking for experienced gurney drivers for full-time and part-time positions as well. Drivers are responsible for transporting patients with varying disabilities to appointments and other treatments, in a timely, polite, and attentive manner.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Maintain clear and consistent communication between Passengers, Dispatch, and Treatment Facilities, e.g. schedule adjustments, patient status updates, incidents, etc.

Build and maintains positive and professional working relationships with co-workers, patients, treatment facilities personnel, and the general public.

Act as a brand ambassador by providing excellent customer service, exercising good judgment, and displaying compassion at all times.

Perform routes with both accuracy and efficiency. Conduct daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections prior to beginning route and at the end of the shift.

Operate internet-connected, GPS-enabled device such as smartphone or tablet in order to maintain communication and determine most efficient routes.

Adapt driving style to current weather conditions.

Manage frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and adaptive manner.

Observe TC Transportations safety and security procedures at all times. Obey all state traffic laws at all times.

Must haves: Must have a clean driving record (No more than 1 point in the last 3 yrs.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
