Pacific West Ambulance is happy to announce that we have immediate Full-Time openings in our Wheelchair and Comfort Car Transportation Department.

Individuals with first aid training over the age of 21 begin their career at Pacific West Ambulance in the Wheelchair Transportation Department where they start earning seniority and gaining valuable skills such as navigation, patient communication, radio etiquette, and creative problem solving.

Customer service is of the upmost importance since you will be working with a variety of different clients. We transport patients to and from all types of medical appointments to all types of medical facilities as far as they may need.

Candidate must be comfortable operating a large vehicle and driving for as much as 12 hours a shift. We operate Transit / Sprinter vans and mid-sized sedans.

As an employee of Pacific West Ambulance, you will work out of one of our 2 stations throughout Lincoln County, i.e. Lincoln City or Newport. You must be flexible for either starting location as it could change daily.

Every station is equipped a full kitchen, private sleeping quarters, and crew areas with couches, recliners, and TVs.

Candidates must have good driving record. No speeding tickets above 15mph over the posted limit in the last 3 years or DUII convictions in the last 15 years. No more than 2 traffic tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.

Candidates must pass a background check and a urine analysis test. (no THC due to federal contracts.)
