We are seeking shuttle drivers to work at a facility in Atlantis, FL. These are steady, local routes for employees of a resort community. The shuttles bring staff from their parking area to their work location. we operate late model 14-passenger vehicles which do not require a CDL.

Drivers earn $13-$17/hour to start. One location has a higher base rate due to shorter shifts.

Currently, we are seeking a driver who can work a wide variety of hours on a fill-in part-time basis.

Shuttle Driver- Job Description

The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can
• Safely shuttling customers to various destinations
• Opening and closing doors for patrons
• Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles
• Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants
• Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements
• Recording passenger counts and trip times
• Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
• Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones, etc.)
• Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
• Filling in as a lot attendant when needed
• Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management
• Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations

Hours

These positions are part-time. Hours will vary as a new schedule is published weekly. However, a typical part-time worker can expect to work either early mornings or afternoons with some variance

License required: valid class E (Non-CDL) license in good standing

A valid DOT Medical card is also required. (We will pay for qualified applicants to obtain their medical card if necessary - a simple DOT physical).

Professional driving experience is a plus.
