Basic Job Specifications:

• Member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, in good and regular standing Health educator course certificate, health/ medical background desired, managerial experience, a mature Christian
• Meet physical demands of the department’s occasional needs such as lift boxes, physically handling guests, doing the exercise classes, and walking with the guests around the campus
• Able to follow basic instructions and follow through with them
• Computer, scheduling, & organizational skills
• Must be at 18 years of age and a mature Christian
• Reliable, dependable, neat, clean, and well groomed
• Must be friendly, polite, and a team player
• Speaks, read, and writes English fluently
• Abide to the Wildwood standards
• Current Driver’s License

Expectations:

• No cell phone usage unless for work purposes
• All personal matters are to be handle outside of work hours, unless given permission
• No causal communications with friends or family during work hours
• Must be on early, not on time. If work starts at 9 am, arrive at 8:50 to be ready to work at 9 am

Responsibilities:

• Get information from the evening shift person about guests needs.
• Check WhatsApp/Telegram groups to see if there are any changes/needs/updates.
• Make sure all the lights are turned off in the hallways by the switchboard, down the hospital, lifestyle, tearoom, laundry area and hallway going to the kitchen.
• Check to make sure that the following doors are locked: front door, the door by the diet kitchen, laundry area, lifestyle back room, pantry, and the basement door (close the windows in the dining room).
• Document any important changes or events on Telegram/WhatsApp for the morning shift.
• Check who is on-call in case you may need to call them during your shift.
• You must know the following: the pantry with supplements and supplies as well as their uses (which are found at the back of the door). Also, know how to check vitals such as blood pressure – automatic and manual, blood sugar, oxygen, respiration and pulse.
• Know the questions to ask during an emergency and be ready with complete vitals when making a call to the medical providers.
• For work hours: this shift is counted as a 4 and 1⁄2 hour shift if you are not woken up for an emergency. In the event that the night shift person is called for an emergency, add the time spent during that emergency to the 4 and 1⁄2 hours as part of your work hours.
