JOB SUMMARY: Provide night housing coverage in the dorm seeking to establish and maintain a positive living environment in the dorm.

• Maintain quiet hours and enforce the housing policies during the evening hours, generally 7 p.m. to 3a.m.
• Interact with residents on a continual basis in a mature and professional manner to maintain quiet hours, enforce policies, keep out unauthorized visitors, ensure cleanliness and to resolve problems as they occur.
• Communicate and cooperate with Fire and Security and NPS officers to resolve problems whenever needed. Ensure that situations which potentially involve a legal violation are reported promptly via Fire & Security/NPS.
• Do light cleaning and maintenance work as primary duties permit.
• Follow up on and handle complaints and concerns communicated by the residents.
• Maintain a log of occurrences and communicate with Housing Department Management on a daily basis.
• Do special projects as assigned by the housing office.
• Wear required personal protective equipment while performing tasks, and adhere to all safety and risk management policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
