• OEC Group is currently looking for an experienced VOIP Network Engineer who will be responsible for the engineering and maintenance of VOIP solutions for the national IT infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate for this position has strong computing skills and is problem solver who can resolve complex issues!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Manages FreePBX/Asterik/Microsoft Teams VOIP environment
• Troubleshoots VOIP/network environment (including inter-office network)
• Provides root cause analysis
• Oversees network environment change management
• Monitors network hardware and software issues as it relates to routing, switching, voice service providers, and network device maintenance

Work Schedule

New York 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics or Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience as a VOIP Engineer with network operation experience
• Understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the following technologies:

• FreePBX/Asterisk
• Microsoft Teams direct routing
• PRI/BRI, Voice T1/E1, FXO/FXS, Codecs
• LACP, VLAN, SIP, BGP, route redistribution and PBF
• QoS and network monitoring solutions

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000-$140,000 annually based off related years of experience and education level.
