Position: Network/ System Administrator

Location: Ashburn, VA

Duration: Full Time

· The network/system admin should have experience in setting up and maintaining networks, configuring routers, firewalls, switches, and other networking hardware. The admin should also have experience with deploying and managing laptops and other end-user systems on a network.

· Should have a strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN protocols, and network security. They should be able to configure and manage virtual private networks (VPNs), wireless networks, and remote access solutions. The admin should also have experience with server operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and macOS.

· Should be familiar with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework and understand how to implement security controls to meet the requirements of different CMMC levels. They should be able to work with compliance and security teams to ensure that the company network and systems meet CMMC standards.

· Should be able to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders. They should be able to work collaboratively with other teams within the company, such as compliance, security, and helpdesk teams.

· Should be able to troubleshoot complex network and system issues and develop effective solutions to resolve them. They should be able to identify potential issues before they occur, and implement preventive measures to ensure network and system stability.

· Prefer holding industry-standard certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, and MCSE.

· Should be able to document network and system configurations, security policies, and procedures in a clear and concise manner. They should be able to maintain an up-to-date inventory of all company laptops and systems, and track any changes or updates made to them.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
