Job Description

Valdez International Corporation a major Aerospace / Defense contractor has positions available on its IAFNOS contract in San Antonio, Texas for a Network Analyst.

This AFIN Mission Assurance Center (AMAC) team utilizes specialized tools to manage and coordinate events within the network.

Must be willing to work Day or Swing Shift.

Authorized Service Interruption (ASI)

• Review and provide daily updates on the AFIN ASI process, brief senior Air Force leadership on ASI status.
• Daily ASI Management, receive approved ASIs, schedule, coordinate, review, process, and de-conflict on internal dashboard.
• Quality check that all ASI requests are in compliance with minimum information requirements and work with customers to bring those lacking in compliance to submittal standards.
• Coordinate ASI requests with Air Force and DoD counterparts.
• Publish approved ASIs on internal dashboard.
• Monitor upcoming ASIs for 24 to 72 hours and provide reports.
• Monitor status of all ASIs and update them on the dashboard.

Required Skills

• Prior Air Force experience (active duty or contractor) preferred.
• Experience with mission area above preferred.
• Knowledge of the Air Force Information Network (AFIN) Enterprise network.
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server networks and core network services that supports those networks.
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills.

Certifications and other Requirements

• Must have Secret Clearance.
• Candidate must be certified in accordance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II approved baseline certifications prior to start date. Security+ is preferred.
• Additional industry certifications may be required within specific time frames.
• Drug Screen Required.
