OnesourcePCS, LLC is looking for a full time Network Engineer to support the NIGC Division of Technology (DoT) in Washington, DC.

Work Schedule

• Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays

Job Specific Duties

• Plan and setup the network architecture
• Oversee network infrastructure and monitor system reliability and performance.
• Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and support network infrastructure
• Design, analyze and implement network equipment and design cost effective system configurations
• Monitor network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
• Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.

Qualifications:

Experience

• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience

Required Skills/Knowledge

• Must have the ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
• Must have strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
• Must have the ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
• Must have the knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Must have the ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
• Must have the ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless-access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers.
