Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore is seeking a Multimedia Communications Coordinator to work closely with the Communications and Development departments to help develop, create content for, and execute a comprehensive communications strategy. This position will work closely with the VP of Public Affairs to produce a wide variety of content to support events, promote disability advocacy and inclusion, attract donors, and promote Easterseals services.

Key functions of the Multimedia Communications Coordinator role include:

• Developing video content, including working with the VP of Public Affairs to identify compelling stories, completing pre-production planning and/or scriptwriting, shooting in the field, and editing a final product
• Act as the Easterseals staff photographer as needed for stories and events
• Maintain Easterseals Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore’s affiliate website using Luminate CMS, and the Easterseals Camp Fairlee website using Webflow
• Design print and digital materials, such as brochures, posters, web banners, social graphics, etc
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including writing and designing emails and maintaining email lists
• Maintain a robust backup system to organize, store, and protect digital media assets

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years’ experience in a multimedia content production/strategy role
• Advance knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
• Video production experience and knowledge (we’d love to see any past work!)
• Comfortable shooting photos and video on a Canon DSLR
• Experience with, or strong interest in, disability services and issues
• Ability to work collaboratively in an open, friendly manner
• Print/digital graphic design experience
• Excellent computer skills and eagerness to learn new things

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of web design, HTML/CSS, and CMS best practices
• Working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud programs, such as After Effects, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Experience sourcing stock photos, graphics, videos, and music
• Email marketing and design experience
