The TSC Family is looking to add an experienced Mud Engineer/Mudman to our team!

Foundation Drilling Mudman is responsible for running and maintain the mud pumps, tanks, hoses, and valves. Additional, the Mudman will check the quantity and quality of the drilling mud, sand content viscosity, specific to gravity of drilling mud. Mudman is responsible for all maintenance reports for the pumps, air compressors, generators.

Responsibilities

Drilling Engineer/Mudman responsibilities and abilities include but are not limited to the list below.

  • Mixing the drilling mud to the specifications required.
  • Operating and maintaining engines, pumps, valves, and de-sanding.
  • Testing the viscosity, specific gravity, and sand content and reporting to inspectors on project.
  • Reporting weekly equipment logs.
  • Responsible for running and maintaining the mudlines on the project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience within the oilfield or foundation drilling industry working with mud systems.
  • Transportation to work.
  • Work Safely.
  • Be able to carry 70 lbs. or more – frequent cross body movements such as bending, climbing, twisting, balancing, stooping, etc.
  • High School diploma/GED preferred.
  • Flexible availability to work alternate schedules, including different hours and/or days of week, based on business needs.
