Motion Graphics Artist

Project based, Freelance position.

Remote, US based candidates only.

Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere, or Davinci Resolve

Role

This position is freelance, on-call as needed based on project demands, when needed. As a Motion Graphics Artist/Video Editor on our team, you are to enhance the live and animated video being produced by compiling the content, editing, and creating custom graphics to enhance the viewer experience and branding.

You are a driven, self-motivated person, with an eye for detail, quality and contemporary aesthetics.

When called for a job, you will be expected to perform to assure the project is completed and ready to deliver by the deadline at various Drafts and Final stages.

Responsibilities

Specifically, you should be able to:

• Conceptualize, visualize and design special effects, animation, or other visual images for our clients videos (including but not limited to: call outs, animated text, various ways to highlight project areas)
• Produce animated graphics ranging from lower thirds, logos, and bumpers to full productions
• Modify/Rework existing motion graphics assets
• Collaborate with clients and team members

Results

• Deliver animated graphics with modern aesthetics per client needs and supervisor’s direction.
• Complete all tasks on-time, and meet deadlines.
• Work cooperatively with our team to produce final video by completing your Role and Responsibilities.
• Be a team player, and have an attitude of going above and beyond.

Requirements

• BA in Graphic Design, Animation, Film or a related field is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in multimedia design, motion graphics, video editing and animation
• Must have a reel or portfolio of work to demonstrate skills and abilities
• Strong foundation of layout, color, typography, proportion, photography, and motion/rich media
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
• Comfortable working with Windows based programs
• Able to work with After Effects pre-existing content and create new, custom graphics
• Ability to manage multiple small projects and/or one large, complex project.
• Must meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
