Description of Employment:

• Diagnose and Repair Navistar and Cummins engines
• Perform alignment on diesel units

• Utilizing computer-based diagnostics, troubleshoot engine and equipment failures
• Coordinate with supervisor / service writer for all assigned duties of work regarding all parts and time for job orders

• Perform preventative maintenance on customer vehicles
• Stay current with all assigned training

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Available to work a minimum of 40hrs per week
• Alignment experience on heavy diesel units
• Cummins Engine and software experience (preferred)

• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and physical exam
• Possess a valid driver’s license, a CDL Class A or B is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Own set of tools to perform vehicle repairs preferred

Helpful Skills:

• Background working knowledge of Navistar International trucks and Cummins engines
• ASE certifications
• Cummins/OEM Manufacturer Certifications
• Allison Certifications
• Eaton Certifications
• Understanding of electrical systems
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and air brake systems
• Bilingual ability (written and spoken English and Spanish)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
