LinQuest is seeking a Mission Payload Integration Engineer to join our team at our office in El Segundo, CA

Responsibilities:

• Utilize extensive experience in the Spacecraft Mission Payload field to design, analyze, and develop reports on spacecraft systems
• Provide counsel to the government in Mission Payload systems engineering and the associated risk assessments of remote sensing designs
• Identify technical discrepancies between spacecraft hardware communication and other bus subsystems being utilized, installed, or built against requirements and program baselines
• Collect data and provide comprehensive analysis on existing development programs within the PEO Space Sensing (SSC/SN).

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in cross-functional planning, coordination and task execution across the spectrum of systems engineering and integration activities
• Working with military and other government representatives, FFRDC (Aerospace) representatives, and SSC's prime contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to develop solutions for complex technical issues with limited supervision

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 15+ years experience in areas of OPIR and/or Satellite systems engineering, DoD space acquisitions and compliance with government instructions
• Must have experience supporting Mission Payload technical programs throughout the engineering life cycle
• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this position

Compensation:

• The starting salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000, depending on relevant experience and qualifications
