NCW is seeking Welders with MIG/TIG experience for a project in New Prague, MN. This project you will be working 2nd shift (2:45 PM-12:45 AM) Mon-Thurs with possible OT as the job requires. Per diem will be $100 per day worked, and this job is expected to last at least six months. You must be able to cut and join metals with precision from technical drawings and verbal instruction. The ideal candidate can work solo or as a team.

Job Duties:

• Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting project
• Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
• Welding very large storage tanks with MIG & TIG in the 3G & 4G positions
• Working on top of tanks, welding in tight spaces, as well as welding while on your back
• Pipewelding experience would be a plus, but not required
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
• Understand, follow, and comply with all company safety and operating procedures and policies

Requirements:

• MIG/TIG welding experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints, weld symbols handbooks
• Knowledgeable in safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.)
• Valid driver's license / state issued photo ID
• Ability to pass an onsite weld test
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Reliable transportation as well as own tools and PPE
