Buck Company, located in Quarryville, PA, is searching for a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a 2nd Shift Metal Pourer. As a Metal Pourer, you will operate hand-controlled mechanisms to pour and regulate the flow of various types of molten metal into molds, check temperatures, pour samples for lab testing and monitor addition of alloys. Responsibilities:

• Will operate ladles and handheld controlled mechanisms to pour and regulate the flow of molten metal into sand molds to produce castings.
• Skim slag or remove excess metal from equipment using hand tools.
• Accurately read temperature gauges.
• Add appropriate alloys according to job instructions
• Collect samples and/or signal workers to sample metal for analysis.

• Must possess excellent time management skills
• Must understand numbering and be able to comprehend work instructions
• Ability to safely and successfully perform job functions consistent with Buck Company safety Policy
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical capabilities test
