Here is some of whatyou can expect from being a Medical Technologist with us:

• You willprovide technical quality testing for neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adult,and geriatric patients in the laboratory setting in compliance with CAP, JCAHO,OSHA, AABB, FDA, and CLIA standards
• Yourthorough understanding and application of the MT practice is essential due tothe intense field of critical patient testing. Therefore, you must continuouslystrive to improve clinical testing through formal and informal education
• You willmaintain knowledge of all procedures and protocols
• You willperform required quality control and function verification of equipment

Qualificationsyou will need for this role:

• MT(ASCP), MLT, or specialty, or eligible for registry preferred, or equivalentexpertise in the clinical laboratory field
• Highschool diploma/GED required
• Prefer1-2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory
• Must haveeffective verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate in aclear, concise manner with coworkers, physicians, nursing staff and patients
• Mustdemonstrate above average manual dexterity
• Must haveworking knowledge of laboratory computers and instrumentation
