On-Call Medical Receptionist
Location: Flint
Hours: Varies, 8-5 or 9-6
Pay: $13-$15
Do you have experience in a medical office environment? Are you organized, outgoing, and able to multi-task? Our Flint-based client is looking for someone to join their busy medical practice as an On-Call Receptionist. This position will not last long! Apply today!
Duties:
- Greeting and helping patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts
- Assist patients and visitors with questions and other inquiries in-person and on the telephone
- Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appropriately
- Ensure the availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records
- Maintain patient accounts
- Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information and recording and collecting charges
- Maintain business office inventory and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma and or higher
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting preferred
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written
- Ability to multi-task and remain flexible
- Efficient time management and organization skills
- HIPPA Compliance
- Basic Insurance Knowledge
