We are seeking a MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST in Stevens Point, Wisconsin at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital. The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting, registering, and assisting patients in a professional manner, scheduling appointments, obtaining, and maintaining registration records and answering phone calls.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of office procedures normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of business office, customer service or healthcare experience preferred.
- Computer experience and basic computer keyboarding skills required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
Hours: Full-time, varied shifts. 80 hours per pay period. Benefits package available.
Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital features 8 beds for medical/surgical patient care on the campus that includes Aspirus Stevens Point Clinic, Walk-in Clinic, Surgery Center and Emergency Department. Other hospital features include: Hospitalist care. Expanded surgical case types and Overnight care close to home.
