If you are interested in joining our team, we currently have a position available as an Insurance Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Calling insurance companies for verifications, claims status, authorizations/precertifications
• Answer patient inquiries in a professional & courteous manner
• Maintain proper attendance & punctuality
• Understand & adhere to all HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality & record keeping
• Working with insurance company, health care provider & patient to get claims processed & paid
• Attend staff meetings or other company mandated meetings as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical insurance required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & computer savvy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
