Alafaya Woods Family Medical Center is a private practice located in Oviedo, Fl. Our care team consists of a physician, physician assistants and nurse practitioners. We are looking for full time medical front office receptionists to join our team. Along side other team members, this candidate will be responsible for ensuring our patients are greeted in a friendly and welcoming manner in person as well as on the phone.

Additional Responsibilites:

• Check patients In/Out using Athena EMR
• Collect balances,copays, and deductibles
• Verify insurances using Availity, insurance websites, and telephone
• Scheduling appointments
• Faxing, copying documents
• Listen to voicemails and documenting requestes when appropriate
• Reviewing and responding to emails as needed

This position requires attention to detail and multi-tasking at all times. Punctuality and professional appearance is a must.

Prior medical front office experience is required- atleast 2 years.

Candidate must be local to the area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
