Quince Orchard Psychotherapy was founded to fill the gap in high quality yet financially-accessible mental health services in the DC metro area. Quince Orchard Psychotherapy is seeking a dynamic and collaborative part-time Medical Director to join our growing team!

The Medical Director is responsible for the clinical oversight and guidance to a team of 4 Nurse Practitioners and growing. The Medical Director will ensure services are consistent and in compliance with QOP’s goals and objectives. We strive to create an inclusive and affirmative positive workplace culture. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supervises and coordinates work of licensed NPs. Manages quality and effectiveness of care given by staff through chart audits and peer support meetings.

• Participates within the department in establishing the standards of patient care, policies and objectives; communicates standards, policies and objectives to staff

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Licensed to practice Psychiatry in Maryland (MD or DO)

• Graduate from an accredited Medical School with a Doctorate

• 5 or more years of Psychiatric experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a Psychiatric Medical Director role

• Experience with EHR (AthenaHealth preferred)

This is an Independent Contractor part-time position.
