Medical Billing Specialist - Remote
Job description
Physicians' Choice is growing and need experienced accounts receivable specialists for our team. The Account Receivable Specialist will work join will perform the following tasks for their assigned client(s):
- Follow up with insurance carriers on unpaid accounts.
- Work denials from payers, and determine appropriate action (Appeal, release to patient, etc.)
- Work electronic claim rejections
- Handle correspondence from insurance carriers and patients.
- Respond to inbound phone calls from patients and payers.
In addition to the work tasks, the successful candidate will:
- Display a positive attitude, with a focus on professional and courteous treatment of others in the course of their duties.
- Possess excellent time management and organization skills.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years medical billing experience .
Bilingual candidates are highly valued.
