Medical Billing Specialist-Home Health and Hospice

Evenflow Solutions has a client that is looking to add a few Medical Billing Specialist with experience in Home Health Care and Hospice billing.

• 100% Remote position - work from the comfort of your home office
• Contract to Hire position with a great company

• Highly organized individuals who display a strong attention to detail
• Employees who are dedicated and responsible that have the ability to work independently without being micromanaged while still meeting deadlines
• Experienced billers with a knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, DDE, DME, Zirmed, Ability, and other common clearinghouses
• Analytical thinkers with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team players who are passionate about their work and will actively contribute to a positive, collaborative environment
• Home health/hospice experience is preferred

Job Duties:

• Processing, monitoring, and collecting of Medicare, Medicaid and other commercial insurance claims in accordance with payor requirements
• Verifying accuracy of billing data and revising any errors
• Importing/posting payments from all payor types
• Creating and distributing various financial reports as needed
• Timely resolution of all claims including appeals
• Following up on accounts for billing and on overdue accounts for collections via phone calls, re-submissions and adjustments for billing errors
• Working with personal information and maintaining patient confidentiality

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Medicare/Medicaid Billing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Home Health/Hospice Billing: 2 years (Preferred)
