Reliable Respiratory has an exciting job opportunity for a Medical Billing Representative!
This is a remote position with required hours of Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

The Medical Billing Representative ensures the timely and accurate posting of accounts receivables.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and research patient accounts to assure accurate billing and payment posting
  • Upholds company and insurance guidelines of patient billing
  • Work with billing department to reconcile any customer billing errors, and re-submission of claims
  • Initiate contact with patient’s via telephone, and email, to attempt collection of outstanding balances, assuring professional and positive experience toward resolution
  • Effectively communicating with consumers to obtain full payment of debt or establish acceptable payment arrangements
  • Helps post cash batches and checks to individual invoices
  • Contact all customers past due per management guidelines, to collect all invoices due
  • Work with billing department to reconcile any customer billing errors, and re-submission of claims
  • Participates in getting compliance documentation necessary for billing
  • Participates in accounts receivable projects
  • Prints and mails claims as needed
  • Answers telephones, processes orders, and participates in general customer service

Basic Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require work authorization from us now or in the future
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college preferred
  • At least 2 year of experience in Medical billing or relevant experience

  • Professional computer experience (especially Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Ability to work independently to investigate and make decisions

  • Ability to prioritize and complete work amidst interruptions in a busy work area
  • Available during normal hours of operation
  • Ability to comply with guidelines both internal and industry-imposed
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
