Shift:

8:30am – 5pm; Monday-Friday

8am – 12pm; Saturday rotation

Duration: 12-month contract to hire

Onboarding Requirements: MUST BE VACCINATED TO GO ONSITE

• Health screenings/vaccinations
• Drug test
• Background check

Must Haves:

• Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C or MA-R accepted)
• MA-C: WA State Certification
• MA-R: National Certification

• 6 months of MA experience in clinic
• 6 months of experience working in a call center / high call environment

Plusses:

• Epic experience

Day-2-Day:

This Medical Assistant will be taking inbound messages and calls from providers, patient coordinators, and patients to answer questions about prescription refills, medications, reactions to medication, general health questions and clarifying plan of care. The MA may have to call patients in response to messages. This MA may receive escalations from patient coordinators unable to answer patient’s questions or access their records. This is a high-paced role with a high call and message volume, MAs should have some clinical experience so that they are ready for the fast pace.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical assisting: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• MA-C or MA-R (Required)
