CBS Medical Billing and Consulting, LLC provides full-service practice management, medical billing and compliance services for healthcare practices. Drawing upon the firm’s deep experience in the highly-regulated Orthotics and Prosthetics industry, CBS specializes in solving complicated medical billing and revenue cycle challenges, to stabilize and stimulate cash flow and profitability for all types of medical practices throughout the U.S. Overall, we love helping our clients achieve their practice goals by helping them with their billing. We are a very successful in what we do which has led to our growth.
What you will be doing: Assisting the Appeals department with the research and review of claim denials. Communicating with Insurance companies on medical policies. Strong communication skills are necessary.
Requirements:
This is a full-time forty (40) hour week position. You must be able to sit/stand at a desk and work on a computer screen for an eight (8) hour shift. You should have great communication skills, written and verbal, as well as have proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and web browsers.
Essential Duties:
1. Researching claim denials
2. Reviewing medical policies
3. Preparing and reviewing documentation
4. Outbound calls to all insurance companies
5. Preparation of appeal letters
