Position Summary:

TRUE Neuropathy and Wound Solutions (TNWS), an Arizona based company, is looking for a Traveling Medical Assistant/Administrative Assistant. The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting the medical provider and completing administrative duties in our fast-paced and energetic offices. Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, completing patient paperwork, charting, ordering office/medical supplies, scheduling appointments, managing billing and maintaining inventory.

Performance Objectives:

  • Welcome patients by greeting them
  • Complete patient vitals during medical exams
  • Operate exam equipment
  • Assist medical providers in charting
  • Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Complete daily and weekly supply inventory
  • Place office and medical supply orders
  • Schedule patients
  • Collect payment
  • Submit billing to billing company
  • Find and maintain relationships with referring clinics
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

  • Organizational Skills
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Type minimum of 45 WPM

  • Ability to define and take massive action to accomplish your own personal, professional and financial goals

Education & Experience:

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields preferred
  • Familiarity with medical billing procedures
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • 2 years’ administrative health care experience
  • 1-year Medical Assistant experience
  • Medical Assistant certification required

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting/Standing for long periods of time
  • Able to lift/carry 20+ lbs

Salary Range:

· $18-$24 / hour
