The Media Manager is a key member of St. Martin’s Publishing Group’s fast-paced, dynamic and highly accomplished Creative Studio team, reporting to the VP Advertising / Creative. The Media Manager handles all aspects of media planning, buying, creative delivery, and reporting for our in-house advertising agency’s managed campaigns, and assists the VP Advertising with seasonal planning and budget management. The Media Manager maintains and nurtures key relationships with advertising partners, as well as researching and reporting on key trends and evolving best practices.

What you'll do:

  • Plan and book managed advertising campaigns
  • Report on campaign analytics and apply learnings to future campaigns
  • Enter and update Team Project Grid and budgeting software with campaigns, specs, and due dates
  • Assist the VP Advertising with seasonal planning and budget management
  • Research and report on key advertising trends and evolving best practices
  • Prepare and present title advertising campaigns at weekly meetings

What you'll bring:

  • Highly organized
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of content and audience profiles for media from print to digital advertising to video streaming to broadcast.
  • Familiarity with key advertising products, including display, email, video, native ads, social and search.
  • Experience in audience research and/or campaign analysis a plus

Ideal Experience/Education:

  • Advertising agency media planning or advertising-related book publishing experience
  • Experience working with outside vendors (i.e. managed campaigns versus self-service)
  • College Degree or equivalent in work history

This position will have an annual salary of $65,000-$70,000.
