Hiring Immediately - Full & Part Time Medication Aide / Med Aide / Medication Tech / Med Tech

As a Med Tech you'll perform ADL services to residents in accordance with service plans in their assisted living and/or memory care community. Your duties are performed under Director of Health and Wellness supervision while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Some responsibilities include:

• Follow services outlined in resident service plan in friendly/supportive manner.
• Pass medication following physician orders and the Medication Administration Record.
• Document change in condition, communicate with Medication Aide Team about resident needs.
• Participate in meal service including serving and cleaning the dining room.
• Foster Medication Technician teamwork, overcome obstacles, assist others beyond job responsibilities, and positively impact colleagues, residents, and visitors.

Qualifications:

• Med Tech must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors!
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Medication Technician certifications as required by state.
• Med Tech must have one year experience in caregiving role or similar function.
• Med Tech must be able to read physician orders and match Medication Administration Records.
• Medication Technician must understand medical terminology adequate to pass medications and communicate with medical professionals.
• Medication Aide must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
