Job description

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a company based in Ridgeville, SC. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for conducting maintenance on various machines in a production environment.

Pay Rate:
$20.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule and Hours:
Monday through Friday
Second Shift: 3:00 pm until 11:30 pm
Third Shift: 11:00 pm until 7:30 am

Mechanical Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
Install and repair hydraulic system components such as hydraulic pumps and various types of valves
Install and perform routine maintenance on pneumatic systems
Read blueprints and use various tools such as hand and power tools and welding instruments
Diagnose and repair faulty components of various machines to ensure the machine is able to perform production operations.
Track work orders, time entry, and parts procurement using a computerized maintenance management system.

Mechanical Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements:
Must have associate s or technical degree
10+ years of experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine geometry
Knowledge of pneumatic systems, mechanical assembly, and hydraulic systems
Maintain all OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
