Meat Wrapper Clerk

Job Summary:

To deliver a great customer experience while wrapping, scaling, packaging, and pricing merchandise in our meat department. Must maintain a clean and visually appealing department and perform other tasks as required by the department and store management.

Qualifications:

· Must have knowledge of safe food handling and demonstrate safe work habits.

· Ability to perform basic math and understand the English language.

· Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift more.

· Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.

· Ability to work in varying temperatures.

· Ability to work with raw and processed products.

· Ability to interact with customers in a helpful and friendly manner.

· Ability to work cooperatively with others.

Job Functions:

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

· Utilize and maintain equipment as required, reporting any issues.

· Stock merchandise in display cases, rotating all product.

· Must be knowledgeable in the various types of products carried.

· Follow procedures for wrapping, dating, storing, and displaying product.

· Handling of damaged or spoiled products

· Remove trash to designated area.

· Identify and remove out-of-date product.

· Preform other duties as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.20 - $16.00 per hour
