Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center, is your neighborhood math-only learning center that teaches kids math in a way that makes sense to them! With our team of enthusiastic math instructors, students from K - 12th grade are provided with a supportive and fun learning experience.

If you did well in math in high school or college, and have worked as a camp counselor, kids sports coach or other similar experience working with children, we are looking for you!

We provide training in the The Mathnasium Method, a proven, Number Sense-based math curriculum used in all 1,000+ Mathnasium Learning Centers around the country. The ideal candidate is passionate and friendly, enjoys helping kids and excels at math.

Students love coming to Mathnasium, and our instructors love the fun and enjoyable work environment while helping students succeed in math!

We are not private tutors, we are a math learning center that takes the guesswork out of how to help students with customized learning plans.

Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 7 PM, and Saturday from 10AM to 1PM. We are seeking instructors that can work 8 to 20 hours per week. Pay will be based on education and experience. We offer benefits to part-time employees include supplemental health benefits and 401K.

REQUIREMENTS of Working at Mathnasium:

- Strong math skills through Pre-Calculus

- Previous experience working with children and/or tutoring (camp counselors and peer tutors are encouraged to apply!)

- Available to work weekday afternoons after 3 PM

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
