JOB TITLE: ASC Materials Coordinator

SUPERVISOR: Director of Surgical Services

HOURS PER WEEK: 40hrs/Non-Exempt

DEPARTMENT: Day Surgery

HIRING BONUS: $1,000 after 90 days

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Position is responsible for collaborating with the Director of Material Operations to ensure that all materials are sourced and maintained for timely completion of surgical operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) TPC123
1. Work in concert with both the Director of Material Operations and the Director of Surgical Services to maintain supplies necessary for completion of all procedures in the surgery centers. *
2. Perform regular checks of stock areas throughout the surgery centers.*
3. Complete routine ordering to maintain par levels.*
4. Utilize MMIS (ENVI) or other software as directed to order and receive supplies.*
5. Set up inventory and stock areas for new supply items.*
6. Check on back orders when required.
7. Track backorders.*
8. Immediately communicate any issues impacting item supply levels with surgery center operational staff.
9. Code invoices when needed.*
10. Attend work as scheduled. *
11. Employees will not be discourteous or disrespectful to a customer or any member of the public while in the course and scope of company business.*
12. Work in a cooperative manner with management/supervision, coworkers, customers and vendors.*
13. Drive between all Portland Clinic locations as needed.*
14. Abide by company policies.*
15. Other tasks as assigned.*
16. Perform other job duties as defined under licensed scope of practice and relevant job descriptions.*

EDUCATION/LICENSES/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Oregon Driver License

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
Experience as member of surgical team preferred.
