Job description

Material Specialist supports Property Management, Architecture & Facilities Engineering (A&FE). You will handle all aspects of materials control for the teams, including the procurement of all parts and services, processing of all SAP/eSource requests, and completing service entries, goods receipts, and check requests.

You will report to Manager-Property Management & Space Planning

Responsibilities

You Will:

  • Handle all processing of material controls for procurement
  • Procure all parts/services for Property Management and A&FE
  • Process all SAP/eSource requests, change orders, check requests, invoices, good receipts/service entries
  • Tracking and expediting parts orders
  • Create & Manage all blanket purchase orders

Basic Qualifications

You Have:

  • 2-5 years experience in a procurement role
  • 1+ Years SAP Experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Shown computer proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
  • Validated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to optimally multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Validated strong interpersonal skills
  • Confirmed experience in succeeding and working with short timelines
  • Math and administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must be self-directed, motivated, and able to work and function with little supervision. The ability to multi-task and resolve problems independently is strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of procurement processes and procedures.

Required Education

  • High School diploma or Equivalent

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim is $23.50 to $28.55 per hour. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
