Under the direct supervision of the distribution managers, the Material Handler II provides superior customer service by performing shipping, receiving, inventory control functions, and responsible for picking and delivery of supplies throughout the Medical Center, and computerized Inventory Control. This role drives vans and trucks to deliver materials to various MMC sites.

Education/Skills required:

• High school diploma plus minimum of 3 years work experience in a health care materials management capacity or equivalent of education and experience and computer literacy. High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
• License Required - Valid NY State drivers CDL license, 24 month of recent driving, no moving violations or automobile accidents.
• Must take the drivers road test by the Motor Vehicle Policy of MMC.(Forklifts, Hi-lo’s, License required to drive Vans and Trucks)
